Alckmin Receives BCIC Delegation and Discusses Cooperation on Energy Transition and Artificial Intelligence

Brasília, July 7, 2026 — The Vice President of the Republic and Minister of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services (MDIC), Geraldo Alckmin, received on Tuesday (7) in Brasília a delegation led by Huang Yehua, President of the Brazil-China Center for Innovation in Science and Technology (BCIC). During the meeting, topics such as energy transition, artificial intelligence, technological innovation, and industrial cooperation were discussed, along with opportunities to expand scientific and technological collaboration between Brazil and China.

The talks focused on the role of technological innovation in modernizing Brazilian industry and the prospects for expanding joint research and industrial cooperation in areas such as clean energy, digital transformation, and advanced manufacturing.
