BCI Platform Project Results Workshop Held at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro

On July 2, 2026, the results workshop for platform projects was held on the third floor of the Administration Building of the Technology Park of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). The workshop showcased the research outcomes of two projects: “Hydro‑aero‑structural Coupled Analysis for Floating Wind Systems” and “Development of Hybrid Park of Renewable Sources for Decarbonization of Offshore Oil and Gas Production Units.”

Experts and scholars from CNOOC Brazil, CENPES, and UFRJ attended the event. In‑depth discussions were conducted on topics including the design and experimental validation of concrete substructures for floating offshore wind, as well as the application of hybrid renewable energy systems to the decarbonization of oil and gas production platforms. The workshop highlighted the achievements of China‑Brazil scientific and technological cooperation in the marine energy sector and laid a solid foundation for further deepening bilateral collaboration in renewable energy and low‑carbon technologies.
